ARK Invest Adds Rocket Lab and Block While Trimming Palantir in Weekly Portfolio Moves

Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest disclosed its latest weekly trading activity, with the firm’s flagship ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) increasing its holdings in Rocket Lab and Block while reducing positions in Palantir Technologies and Tempus AI, according to a recap published by Seeking Alpha.

The weekly rebalancing gives added weight to space and launch services through Rocket Lab, alongside fintech exposure via Block. On the other side of the ledger, ARK trimmed its stake in data analytics software provider Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR), a company that has been a prominent holding in Wood’s funds and a frequent subject of rotation in recent months.

Palantir shares traded at $174.33 in recent action, down 4.44% from the previous close of $182.43, valuing the software company at approximately $439.7 billion. The firm builds software platforms used by government and intelligence customers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and internationally, and has in recent years expanded its commercial customer base alongside its public-sector work.

ARK’s weekly trade disclosures are closely watched by retail investors, as the firm publishes its transactions each trading day. Position changes in high-profile names like Palantir often draw attention given the stock’s large valuation and its visibility among both growth and defence-adjacent investors. It is worth noting that such trimming can reflect routine portfolio management—rebalancing after share-price appreciation or managing position concentration—rather than a directional view on any single company.

Tempus AI, a health technology company applying artificial intelligence to diagnostics and genomic data, also saw its position reduced. Rocket Lab, meanwhile, has become a recurring add for ARK as the company scales its Electron launch operations and develops its larger Neutron vehicle.

Weekly ETF flows like these offer a snapshot of one prominent growth investor’s positioning, but individual daily trades may not reflect long-term conviction across the firm’s suite of funds, which can hold the same names in multiple vehicles.

What to watch

  • Palantir’s next quarterly earnings report, including commercial and government customer growth and updated guidance
  • Further ARK trade disclosures for additional Palantir transactions during the week
  • Rocket Lab milestones related to Neutron development and launch cadence
  • Broader moves in high-multiple software and defence-technology names as market conditions evolve
